Vivo company is all set to launch its latest smartphone, The Nex on 12th June, but rumors and leaks are coming in from all corners. Many reports in the past few days have revealed and leaked a lot of details and features of the new smartphone. The company’s Chinese website had earlier displayed the two variants that are going to be launched, and the characteristics of these variants were matching the ones leaked in the reports more previously. The Vivo Nex is said to be launched in two options with Snapdragon 845 SoC and Snapdragon 710 SoC, speculates the leaked reports. Also, the latest news has revealed the prices of the two variants. Along with all this, a video showing the new handset in all its glory has also been leaked on the internet. The mobile phone is said to be launched with an inbuilt memory storage capacity of 256 GB.
A post on one of China’s microblogging site Weibo revealed that the Snapdragon 710 SoC variant of the Vivo Nex would be launched at a starting price of CNY 3,798 (approximately Rs. 40,000). And the premium version, Snapdragon 845 SoC is going to be launched at CNY 4,498 (around Rs. 47,300). The premium version is said to be available with 8 GB RAM and an inbuilt memory of 256 GB, the post reveals. The rumored prices are similar to the Vivo’s X21 UD variant in China. If the phones are launched at the above-listed prices, then the phones will be direct competitors to OnePlus 6 and Honor 10.
Meantime, a purported video of the Vivo Nex has been showcased in a short video, before the official launch of the handset. The video was posted on Weibo and shows 6GB RAM of the mobile phone. The video’s duration is five-seconds and showcases appearance of the phone that affirms the allegations made in the reports leaked before. The phone is said to have a high screen-to-body ratio, minimal bezels and the display notch is also absent. The dual rear camera is vertically aligned. The handset comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, and thus there is no scanner at the back.
The Vivo smartphone is going to be launched in three variants, the Vivo Nex, Nex S, and Nex A. Until now, the phones are rumored to be launched with max inbuilt storage of 128 GB. On the other hand, another report suggests that one of the variants of the smartphone is going to be launched with 256 GB of inbuilt storage. One of the leaked images on the Weibo website is of a poster. The image confirms some of the rumored features of the new handset like 6.59 display, 8 GB RAM, and 256 GB storage. The variant will also have the Vivo’ AI assistant.
