With smartphone major Motorola already launching the G6 series of smartphones in Brazil. It is speculated to hit the Indian market by July, 2018. The Moto G6 Play is the top model among the G6 series of smart phones which is supposed to have bigger display, more RAM, better processing speed compared to the other models. While the Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 have similar screen size and RAM but differ in the departments of battery capacity, camera configuration, SoC but all three would operating on Android Oreo 8.
The G6 at present being launched in Brazil is to hit the Mexican markets thereafter followed by the countries in Asia Pacific- which includes India, Europe, Latin America as well as North America in the coming months.
It has fingerprint sensor, waterproofing protection with splash proof having a rating of p2i. Among smartphone companies, Motorola has been one of the best when it comes to updating its software as it provides prompt updates which is one of the pros of a Motorola smartphone.

There is facial recognition technology in the Moto G6 plus the Moto G6 Plus but this feature is not included in the Moto G6 Play.
As per the reports the smartphone is to be in the mid-range category as far as budget is concerned. The speculated price in India could be around Rs. 13,000 for the Moto G6 Play, Rs. 16,000 for the Moto G6. The Moto G6 will be moderately priced with Moto G6 Play being the cheapest. The Moto G6 Plus to be priced around Rs. 24000 will be the costliest being at the higher end of specifications among the three.
