Apple would be launching the Apple Watch series 3 on 11th May, 2018 with pre-orders to begin on 4th, May, 2018. Both Reliance and Airtel have begun their pre-orders for the Apple Watch series 3 which has cellular connectivity. It will be having a dual core processor that will give 70% quicker performance, a W2 wireless chip which will enable up to 85% more speed for wifi connectivity, a Bluetooth access with 50% more efficiency, anti water body with resistance up to 50 meters and battery life will extend for 18 hours on an average.
It will be using an e-SIM for both post paid and pre paid subscribers for which no separate SIM card is required and Reliance Jio’s JioEverywhereConnect service will enable usage of the Jio number for making calls, internet access and Apps on both the iPhone (only for iPhone 6 or higher version running iOS11.3 or later) and the Apple Watch at no additional costs. Airtel subscribers who are on Airtel postpaid plan, Airtel My Plan or Infinity Plan will have free cellular service for the Apple Watch for which an e-SIM is available as well for an existing Airtel number.
Further the watch will make possible the playing of music designed automatically to sync playlists and allow the users to view the most listened to music, receive messages, make as well as receiving calls with syncing it to your phone, a heart rate app with specific monitoring, measurements during inactive hours, walking, for finess enthusiasts a GymKit App to measure their data along with a High-Intensity Interval Training feature will be of assistance for those who would rather exercise on their own.
It is reported that Apple has joined hands with Nike for the Apple Watch Nike + Series 3 which will be having the Nike Run Club App for Audio Guided Runs also with training tips from Nike’s team of coaches, athletes and entertainers. For single runs it will note the elevation data for the amount of climbing made plus the ‘Cheers’ option will enable friends to support through virtual cheers and encouraging words.
The base price will start at Rs. 39,080 for the 38mm size and will go up to Rs. 41,160 for the 42mm one (Sea shell loop) just 40 bucks more than regular 42 mm sized watch. The Apple Watch series 3 with LTE connection will cost Rs. 1, 18,030 for the 38mm one and Rs. 1, 22,090 for the 42mm version.
